what if....end of module self evaluation

What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively have you applied them?

I have developed my group skills further from this module in the "what if.." brief which has helped gain confidence in speaking infront of a group of people.
I also feel I have been able to develop my drawing skills in the "100 collection" brief and feel i showed this effectively by using a lot of illustration in my work.

What approaches to/methods of research have you develpoed and how have they informed your design development process?

I have found that catagrising has helped me be more organised with my research. By making catagorys I feel i have been able to come up with more ideas

What strengths can you identify in your work and how/have you capitalise on these?

I think my strength in this module were illustrations as it is something i really enjoy doing so I feel i have done the most amount of work i could. I also kept trying to remember to look back on the brief and what it was asking so that i was doing the right thing and answering the question.

What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these more fully?

My main weakness is definitly "type" and "photoshop"....i first had made my type using pen. Later in the project i used photoshop and made printed type. This looked better but still wasnt as good as it could be as it was just cut out and stuck next to my illustrations. I would have liked it to be on the same paper.

identify 5 things that you will do diferently next time and what will you expect to gain by doing these?

1. money management-nicer materials, nicer work
2. photoshop skills- to produce more profesional work
3. more reseach
4. time management- not finishing in a rush
5. writing more of my ideas down
